Wallace M. Hanson July 28, 1921 - October 8, 2009 Wallace M. Hanson of Waco passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Randy Veazy and Rev. Denise Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Wallace was born July 28, 1921 in Manor, TX to Abner and Mary Hanson. After serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII he began his 43 year career with Piccadilly Cafeteria. He was a member of Bosqueville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mattie Lee Hanson; his son, Rick Hanson; two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his children, Mazell Stafford, Carol Evans and Homer Hawkins, sister, Marjorie Stockton; one brother-in-law, Earl Arnold; and numerous other relatives and friends.
