Walter Jarrett Pearce May 21, 1912 – Dec. 14, 2005 Walter Jarrett Pearce passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Hillcrest Hospital. Services will be at 11:30 am Saturday, December 17, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with Rev. Julie Pennington-Russell and Dr. K. Milton Higgins officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm Friday, December 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Walter was born May 21, 1912 in Waco, TX to Walter and Susie Pearce. He retired from Sears after 21 years. In addition, he was active in Real Estate Brokerage until the time of his death, with a remarkable 50+ year career. Walter and his wife, Norine, have been members of Calvary Baptist Church in Waco since 1954. He is survived by his wife, Norine of Waco; daughter, Jarrene Higgins and husband, Dr. K. Milton of Fresno, CA., and daughter, Linda Geurin and husband, Howard of Waco; and son, Dennis Pearce of Waco. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother. Pallbearers will be Milton Higgins, Jr., Lance Geurin, Ricky Geurin, Randy Geurin, Dennis Pearce and Larry Cruise.
