Wanda Jean Navarro June 28, 1946 – October 19, 2016 Wanda Jean Navarro of Waco passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016, with her daughter by her side. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, with Pastor Ronnie Holmes officiating, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday October 21, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Jean was born June 28, 1946, to R.E. and Lucille Honea, in Groesbeck, Texas, and grew up in Waco. She was a hairdresser in her younger years, and then moved into retail, where she retired. Her biggest joy in life was her grandson, Matthew. She loved spending time with family, cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Tom, James, Donald and Roger Honea; and one sister, Janie Dickson. Survivors include daughter, Vanessa Mounce and husband, Karl; one grandson, Matthew Mounce; two bonus grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Robert Mounce and Krystal Tice and husband, Jason; three bonus great grandchildren, Tristan, Kason and Kennadi Tice; her sister, Cindy Ochoa and husband, Charlie; her bubba, Terry (Bud) Honea and wife, Barbara; nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Bryan Stem, Wiley Stem, Robert Mounce, Dillon Erwin, Logan Erwin, Cody Ochoa, Chuck Ochoa, and Jason Tice. Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Ochoa, Sr. The family would like to thank Providence Hospice and the staff of Providence Hospice Place.
