MILLER, WAYNELLE Ruby Waynelle Miller, age 73, of Waco went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 29, 2003 at a hospital in Dallas. Services will be held at 9:30am Thursday, July 3 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 2:30pm Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow/Ridgeview Memorial Park in McKinney, Texas. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, July 2 at the funeral home in Waco. Waynelle was born in Pickton, Texas on August 10, 1929, to Wayne and Ruby Montgomery. She attended school in Pickton and McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School. She was united in marriage to Billie Buford Miller of Pickton, Texas on November 8, 1947. They lived in McKinney, Texas until 1965 when they moved to Waco with his job at the Veterans Hospital. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1980. She worked at American Income Life Insurance Company in Waco for over 30 years. She was a faithful and active member of First Baptist Church of Hewitt. She loved her Lord and served Him in her church and Sunday School class there. She was a member of her Bridge Club for over 35 years and president of the Potpourri Club. She was a former member of the Waco Newcomers Club and the Waco Garden Club. She also served as director of Camp Fire Girls in McKinney for years. Waynelle leaves her wonderful, sweet Christian spirit and example behind for her friends and family and all that knew her. She leaves her daughters Vicki Uptmore and husband, Danny of Hewitt and Renda Amundson and husband, Milton of Clifton; grandchildren, Melissa Williams and husband, Tyson, of Lubbock, Marc Uptmore of Lubbock, Scott Uptmore of Hewitt, Ryan Amundson of Lubbock, and Ashley and Erica Amundson of Clifton. She leaves one precious great-granddaughter, Makenna Lee Williams of Lubbock. She leaves her adopted sister and friend, Wanda Nichols of Edmond, Oklahoma, along with many more relatives and friends. The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Hewitt or favorite charity.
