Weldaleen Satterwhite

Weldaleen Satterwhite January 28, 1945 - May 24, 2014 Weldaleen Satterwhite of Waco passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Providence Hospice Place after a brief battle with cancer. Honoring her wishes, there will be no formal services. Weldaleen was born January 28, 1945, in Mexia, Texas, to Weldon and Elsie Phillips Hamill. She earned a BA in education in 1967 and an MS in education in 1971 from Baylor University. She was a loyal and dedicated Baylor Alumni and fan. "Sic 'em Bears!" She had a 47-year career with Waco ISD and teaching was her passion. Her motto was Kids Motivated Academically will succeed in life. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Satterwhite; sister, Emma Lee Neighbors; and brother, Phillip Hamill. She is survived by daughter, Candyce Kay Boyer, and husband, Sean Lee, of Mart, TX; granddaughter, Grace Kaylee; sister, Kay Hamill of Dallas, TX; and too many friends and colleagues to name. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caring nurses, Holly, Bronda, Floyce, Leah, Shantese, Susan, and Margie.
