William "Bill" Carl Bell

William "Bill" Carl Bell, age 77, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at a local hospital in Fort Worth, surrounded by his family. Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 South 12th Street, Waco, Texas, with Pastor Dustin Watts officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, Texas.

Bill was born on January 1, 1946, in Waco, Texas. He grew up in Waco on North 18th A Street. He attended Waco High School. Bill married Sharon Vrba on August 28, 1965, they moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1967 and they were married for twenty-five years. Bill retired from Northrop Grumman where he was an Aircraft Assembler. Bill lived in Burleson, Texas for the last thirty years. He loved living in the country. He helped raise cattle and loved riding on his tractor. Bill loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his father, A.P. "Billy" Bell; his mother, Kathryn "Kitty" Bell; and, his brother, George Bell.

Bill is survived by his ex-wife, Sharon Bell; his daughter, Michelle Salazar and her husband, Danny Salazar; his son, Timothy Bell; his daughter, Christie Combs and her husband, Scott Combs; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

Pallbearers are Danny Salazar, Scott Combs, Daniel Salazar, Josh Salazar, Matt Bell, Nathan Bell, and Andrew Bell.
