William Charles Mcgaughy

MCGAUGHY, WILLIAM William Charles McGaughy, age 60, of Lorena left this earth for his home in glory Thursday, May 3, 2001 at a Fort Worth hospital. Services will be 3:30 PM Saturday, May 5th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Pastor Buck Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Gholson Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 4th at the funeral home. Mr. McGaughy was born September 9, 1940 in Crawford to William Cohen and Ivy Deason McGaughy. He was a longtime Waco resident and Good Samaritan. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and put other’s needs before his own. For the last 31 years, he was a transportation driver for HEB Grocery. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. His father, mother, one sister, and four brothers preceded him in death. Survivors include: His wife: Delores McGaughy of Lorena Daughter: Karen Myhalik of Lorena Sons: William Lynn McGaughy and wife, Dena of Conway, MO Chris McGaughy and wife, Dana M. of Lebanon, MO Brian P. McGaughy of Eddy Beloved 2nd mother: Billie Hightower of Lorena 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be Kevin Selby, Lee Love, Brian Abraham, Mike Ramirez, Cohen McGaughy and Clarence McGaughy, Jr. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
