William Grady Cooper, Jr. December 21, 1929 May 29, 2015 W. G. Dub Cooper of Robinson passed away Friday, May 29, 2015, at St. Catherine's Center. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2nd, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Brad Brittan officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday June 1st, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. W.G. was born December 28, 1929 in Meridian, Texas to William and Opal Cooper. He graduated from Waco Tech High School. He married Frances Stegall on September 2nd, 1959 in Waco, Texas and moved to Robinson, Texas in 1968. He was employed by the Lehigh Cement Plant for 37 years as yard foreman, retiring in 1987. Dub was an active member of Central United Methodist Church. He was the president of the men's group, serving on various committees including the building committee. He always built wooden toys and furniture for the nursery and fall festival. Dub enjoyed delivering meals on wheels every Friday for 20 years He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Opal and Les Braswell; Father William Grady Cooper, Sr. and son in law Billy Jack Mills. He is survived by his wife Frances Cooper; four daughters, Karyn Meyreles and husband Raul; Connie Ross and husband Ron; Janice Mills; Debbie Duckworth and husband Bobby; Three sons, Bob Hunt; Bryan Cooper and wife Angie; and Curtis Wayne Wills; seventeen grandchildren, Justin Mills; Amber Sheehan; Heather McWhirter; Jason Fannin; Kaitlin Cooper; Kendall Cooper; Carissa Hunt; Anthony Hunt; Christopher Hunt; Trudy Zimmerman; Desiree Calderone; Devaron Ruggiero; Katrina Gatdula; Shellene Evans; Rick Meyreles; Lisa Meyreles; Caridad Meyreles; 18 great grandchildren; and sister, Jimmie Snider and husband, John. Pallbearers are Arnie Rossi, Lee Goodwin, James Burris, Ed Barker, Ken Castello, Pat Stroman. Honorary Pallbearers Ray Rossi, Gerald Staas, and Bob Waller.
