William D. Suri

William Suri October 5, 1937 - June 14, 2015 William D. Suri, 77, of Moody, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bill was born October 5, 1937 in Bozeman, Montana. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at age 17 and served 22 years as an aircraft mechanic. He went to work at M & M Mars as a maintenance technician after retiring from the service. While working at Mars he met and married his wife, Harriet. He and Harriet retired in 1990 and became fulltime "RV-ers". They spent many years traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada, finally settling in Columbus, New Mexico. They relocated to Deming, New Mexico and finally Central Texas to be closer to family. During their travels they met many interesting and entertaining people and made many good friends. Bill was preceded in death by his grandson, Ty Gurganus, his daughter, Stephanie Suri; stepsons, Ray Ridling and Mitchell Ridling and Mitchell's daughter, Abigail. Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Harriet; son, Scot Suri of Fort Collins, Colorado; daughter, Stacy Armstrong Baugh and husband, David; step-children, Andy Ridling and wife, Sharon and Amy Hartig; grandchildren, Jake Suri, Miles Cruz, Mindy Suri Smith and husband Bill, Rayne Armstrong, Austin Ridling, Lindsay Richardson and husband, David, Maxine Clegg and husband Nate, Zachary and Kyle Ridling, Jake and Spencer Ridling, Harrison and James Hartig. He was blessed with five great-granddaughters this year.
