William Edmond Christie, Jr. May 8, 1964 April 14, 2014 William Will Edmond Christie, Jr., 49, of Houston, Texas, died at his home on April 14, 2014. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday May 3, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas. A memorial service will be held in Houston at a future date. Mr. Christie was born May 8, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to the late William Edmond Christie and the late Carol Ann Mundell Christie. "Uncle Will" is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Anna and Dr. Relvert Coe of Palestine; two nieces, twins, Madeleine Penland Coe and Sophie Christie Coe; and a nephew, Nicholas Edmond Coe; his uncles, James Harvey Christie of Palestine, Alonzo Bee Christie and wife, Marie Louise, of Dallas, and George Penland Christie and wife, Ellen, of Galveston; along with his special friend and companion, Cheryl Roe. "Uncle Will" will be remembered for his love of animals, fondness of music and sailing. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Houston Humane Society, 14700 Almeda Road, Houston, TX 77073 or other animal support foundations.
