William Fredrick Walsleben

William Fredrick Walsleben March 27, 1914 - May 5, 2007 William Fredrick Walsleben of Waco passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at a local hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. David Shuttlesworth officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. William Bill attended school in Bosque county. He received an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps on June 21, 1938. He married Flora Belle Mitchell on June 8, 1940. They moved to Waco in 1949. Bill retired from Texas Coffin Company and was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, infant son, parents, six brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his son, Bill Walsleben and wife, Karen; five grandchildren, Lisa Finkenbiner and husband, Lee, Laura Langdale and husband, Steve, Linda Ramon, Beth Ann Brown and husband, Clint, Jason Hoskins and wife, Chelse; five great grandchildren, Christopher Chappell, Meagan Chappell, Brittany Finkenbiner, Nicholas Langdale, and Roen Hoskins and a host of nieces and nephews.
