WILSON L. LAMB December 31, 1926-October 22, 2005 Wilson Lamb, 78, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 in Amarillo. Services will be at 1:30 Thursday, October 27 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in the Garden Room. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Thursday before the service. Burial will be in Waco Memorial North Cemetery. Wilson was born December 31, 1926 to Lafayette and Hattie Wilson Lamb in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He graduated from Stephenville High School in 1944 and Baylor University in 1949 with a Journalism and Commercial Art degree. He served in WWII in Korea with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was employed at Goldstein-Migel in Waco as an artist in the advertising department. He later worked at Cox’s, in Waco, Monnings in Fort Worth and Beall-Ladymon in Shreveport, LA where he retired as head of the advertising department. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Blair of Fort Worth and Bonnie L. Boyd of Amarillo; three nieces and two nephews.
