COLLINS, YVONNE Yvonne Collins, lovingly known to her family and friends as “Honey”, age 72, of Waco died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at her residence. Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, May 4 at Lakewood Christian Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, May 3 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Collins was born July 25, 1929 in Newport, Texas. She was reared and educated in Fort Worth. She had been a resident of Waco since 1954. She married J.W. Collins October 8, 1946 in Fort Worth. They owned and operated Jayco Enterprises in Waco. Mrs. Collins was a member of Lakewood Christian Church and ABWA-Centex Chapter. She was a judge of antiques at the Heart of Texas Fair. She was also formerly part owner of Village Dress Boutique in Salado. Survivors include husband, J.W. Collins of Waco; daughters, Candace Martin Sheppard and husband, Mark of Lafayette, Louisiana and Kim Tyler and husband, Ricky of Temple; sons, James Billy W. Collins and wife, Debbie of Aledo and Kevin Collins and wife, Valerie of Waco; grandchildren, Max Martin, Tyler Martin and wife, Stefanie, Lee Martin, Seth Tyler, Dustin Tyler, Jason Turner, Brooke Collins, and Rebecca Collins; sister, Sharlean Ledel and husband, Gene of Fort Worth, brother, Ronnie Neal Smith of Paris, and numerous nieces and nephews.
