Zoda Lee Barbara Hadfield

Barbara Hadfield Zoda Lee Barbara Edwards Hadfield, 74, of Waco, Texas formerly St. Louis, Missouri departed our company Sunday, May 1, 2005. A private family service and burial to be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, Texas with the Rev. Don Olson officiating. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6, at 11:00am at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Cornelius, N. Carolina with the Rev. Rob Hinman officiating. Barbara was born January 5, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Robert A. Hadfield on January 22, 1949; he preceded her in death on April 27, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ora Lee and Joseph Austin Edwards; sister, Marie and brothers, Howard, Charles, Thomas, Clifford and Donald Edwards. Barbara gave freely of her time as a volunteer at Providence Hospital, Waco, Texas. Her happiest times were those she spent with her family and grandchildren. Our hearts and arms together we bind our protector, beloved mom and grandma, in love and grace. Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Kay Sharp and William C., Jr. of Woodway, Texas, Patricia Ann Pompe and Tim of Austin, Texas, Kelly Lee Borganti and Bruno of Cornelius, N. Carolina; a sister, Maxine Porges of St. Charles, Missouri; and five grandchildren, Bill III, Jeffrey, James, Jonathan and Andrew.
