Z'Vayah Rae Thompson

Z'vayah Rae Thompson passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Angel Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Axtell Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Z’vayah was born March 23, 2022, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Harley Jessi Rae Thompson.

Z’vayah, you will always be your Mommy’s “stink”. You are the strongest, sweetest, and smartest little girl, and we are so thankful for you!

Z’vayah was always smiling, she was a very happy and loved baby girl. Every challenge she faced, she accomplished with great courage and joy. Just when the doctors predicted that she couldn’t or wouldn’t, Z’vayah would! We are so blessed to have been a part of her life. Z’vayah loved music and loved to be sung to. She loved her elephant mobile and would often talk to them. Z'vayah loved her Foxy Roxie, Lucy her singing lamb, and Mr. Giraffe. Z’vayah you are our shining star and will live forever in our hearts!

Z’vayah was preceded in death by her PaPa, Bill Nix; and beloved pets, Sunday and Jax.

She is survived by her mother, Harley Jessi Rae Thompson; her Grandpa; her NaNa Granny; her Gigi; and Great-Grandma Debbie.
