Photos and albums

There are many opportunities to display photos at a funeral service. Poster boards with photo collages can be placed on easels for display. Flat screen TV monitors can be used to display pictures or a slideshow during calling hours or just prior to the services. Photographs can be printed in the memorial folders, registry book or on urns.

Videos

A DVD video is a wonderful way to share your loved one’s life with others. It can be personalized with your special photos and music. These videos become keepsakes that you can share with your family for generations.

Artwork

Artwork of the deceased or art created in tribute is a beautiful addition to a service. Sculptures, a slideshow of drawings or displaying artwork throughout the funeral home helps people learn more about a life that was cherished.

Music

Live or pre-recorded music can be relaxing and comforting to those who have come to the service. Some other ways music can be used, is to record a CD with the deceased’s favorite songs or songs that he or she wrote or to have musically inclined family or friends perform at the funeral service.

Readings of Poetry & Literature

Passages from the deceased’s favorite books or poems that capture the essence of life help create a service infused with wisdom and words to remember. You can also invite friends and family members to read passages or poems of their choice or write their own pieces to share.

Chapel Service

Chapel Services are an ideal option for families whose loved one did not have a church affiliation, those living outside our area, or those unable to attend a longer church service.

Choosing to hold a service in our chapel means there is no need to repurpose a visitation room for a funeral, unlike many other funeral homes. Our dedicated chapel offers comfortable seating for over 100 guests, state-of-the-art audio and video equipment, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

This beautiful and inviting space provides the perfect setting for any type of service.

Graveside Ceremony

A Graveside Service can range from an intimate gathering of family and close friends to a larger ceremony with a formal program. Often, this service takes place after a visitation at the funeral home, a church service, or a chapel ceremony. Some families opt for a graveside service followed by a memorial service at a later date.

You may also choose to have the entire service at the graveside, where family and friends gather at the cemetery for the casket’s committal.

Clergy, friends, or family members can play an active role in the ceremony by offering readings, reciting poems, or performing special music.

Memorial Services and Life Celebrations

Many families are choosing more contemporary services over traditional ones. A memorial or life celebration service can be an ideal way to honor and remember a loved one. These gatherings typically take place without the casket present and are held before or after burial or entombment.

These services can be hosted in a variety of locations, such as a restaurant, reception center, country club, hotel banquet room, a family member's home, or even a park—the options are nearly limitless.

Both on-site and off-site receptions are becoming increasingly popular among the families we serve.

Memory Tables and Memory Collages

Honor your loved one’s memory with a personalized memory table display. Showcase meaningful items from their life, such as a bicycle, golf clubs, gardening tools, hunting or fishing gear, musical instruments, or even a motorcycle helmet or jacket. The possibilities are endless. You can also create a customized memory collage with special photos, certificates, awards, and other cherished mementos.

Live-streaming and Taping of Services

Do you have family members who can't attend the service because they are out of state or overseas? No one should miss the opportunity to say goodbye to their loved one. We offer live-streaming of the funeral service over the Internet and can provide high-quality recordings. Live-streaming for services held outside the funeral home is also available upon request.

Certified Celebrant

A Celebrant is a trained and certified professional who provides personalized support to families during their time of loss. They work with you to create a unique tribute service that honors your loved one’s life. You can choose to have a Celebrant lead the service alone or alongside clergy. If you’re looking for an uplifting and meaningful service or are not connected to a church, a Celebrant service may be the ideal choice.

Bagpiper

The bagpipe’s solemn and powerful sound makes it a fitting choice for funerals and memorials. For centuries, people around the world have used its melodies to honor and say goodbye to their loved ones. We can help you create a memorable tribute with this timeless and dignified musical tradition.

Pallbearers

Pallbearers can be chosen from among friends, family members, church members, or business associates. If preferred, we can provide pallbearers for your loved one’s service. Each pallbearer will wear a distinctive lily or flag pin to ensure they are easily recognized.

Military Honors

We can assist in honoring your military member with a flag ceremony, color guard, bugler, or even a final gun salute. We coordinate with all branches of the military and will handle all arrangements efficiently and respectfully.

Receptions

We can organize an off-site reception at any venue you choose, whether it's a restaurant, banquet center, or golf club. This provides a meaningful opportunity for family and friends to come together and share memories after the service.
